A One-Stop Shop Conversation on Nuclear Energy in New Mexico

We live in a world where convenience matters. The phrase “one-stop shop” has become part of our everyday language, meaning a place where everything we need comes together. In Albuquerque, the Coronado Center is that place. You can shop for your home, buy groceries, find clothing, meet friends for entertainment, and take care of errands—all in one place. There is comfort in knowing you can go to a single location and find what you need

The Clean Energy Association of New Mexico (“CLEAN”) serves as a central hub for the nuclear energy conversation—New Mexico’s one-stop shop for education, awareness, and collaboration. CLEAN supports a strong and responsible nuclear energy industry grounded in environmentally considerate In-Situ Recovery (“ISR”), a proven uranium extraction method with a minimal environmental footprint. CLEAN’s mandate is to work in partnership with New Mexico to build sustainable economic benefits for local communities and the state, while respecting the land, water, air, and the people of New Mexico.

From April 19–22, CLEAN will host its inaugural Nuclear in New Mexico Conference at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa on the Santa Ana Pueblo. This event is designed to be a true one-stop shop gathering—bringing together leaders from across the nuclear energy landscape in one place, at one time, for respectful and meaningful conversation.

Industry professionals, government officials, regulators, tribal representatives, companies, community members and academic institutions will come together for an in-depth look at the evolving role of nuclear energy in the Southwest and the opportunities it presents for New Mexico’s future.

New Mexico, You Belong! You Belong at the table! You Belong in the circle!

CLEAN’s President and Director, Janet Lee-Sheriff says it this way, “This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the full potential of New Mexico and to welcome everyone who wants to be part of the conversation.”

Join us this April—and be part of the conversation shaping New Mexico’s energy future. Register here
